Debra Rosa Jean Walker

Died: September 5, 2017

After earning a BA in Sociology, Debra worked over 33 years as a civil servant in the federal government. She retired in 2005 as an Equal Opportunity Specialist in the Office of Civil Rights.

Died: March 1, 2018

 

Sherrell retired from Morgan State U in Baltimore MD as the Cultural Arts Coordinator in the Fine Arts Department.

Died: March 5, 2018

Cynthia was president of the 43+1 Delta Sigma Theta line at Spelman.

Died: November 30, 2020

Carletta retired from the Fulton County Department of Family and Children Services. She was the First Lady of Dixie Hills First Baptist Church.

Died: March 21, 2021

Lenora earned a BA in Psychology. She enjoyed a long career at the IRS and at the Dept. of Treasury. She was a beloved member of Church of Christ at Bouldercrest, Atlanta, GA.

Died: September 16, 2021

Marilynn was a civil engineer for Atlanta for 30 years. She was a marathoner, soccer and softball player, scuba diver, and musician. She was an evangelism team member and choir director at First Baptist Church of Atlanta.

Melva Hawkins McMillan

Died: July 11, 2022

Melva retired from the Navy as a lieutenant commander. Later, she was a certified personal trainer and operated her own personal fitness studio in suburban Atlanta before relocating to VA to accept a position as a Human Resources Specialist.

Carmen Epps Brown

Died: February 19, 2023

Carmen studied Early Childhood Education at Spelman and pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, She was a teacher and retired from Orangeburg, (SC) Consolidated School District 5.
